Our family favorite recipes

We live in Goshen NY. During the lockdown due to COVID, healthy eating became very important. My husband is a long-term vegetarian, I prefer making healthy dishes myself. I discovered lots of plant-based recipes that are delicious and nutritious. That's why plant-based recipes are very popular in our house.

How we benefitted from intermittent fasting?

A couple of years ago, both my husband and I joined the Intermittent fasting program with Robyn Rundolph in her Reboot course. We appreciated the taste and flavors, diverse recipes and besides, we started paying attention to healthy habits.

Executive Chef Set in my kitchen:

Robyn inspired us to buy Saladmaster cookware. It was an expensive investment but it is all worth it. The taste of the meals cooked in Saladmaster pans, skillets is incredible! I started looking for other places for healthy recipes. I discovered Detoxinista with Megan Gilmore, Plant-Based cooking with Debbie Adler, and was totally flabbergasted with the recipes and engaging and enlightening videos of “The Blender Girl” Tess Masters and her partner Juice Goddess, Karen Kipp. We joined their seasonal program, called Decadent Detox. This month is our third time we are following the program!

e start the day with a 16 oz glass of lemon water immediately upon rising.

The breakfast menu is different each time from delicious smoothies to rich nutritious Apple Bowles, to Chia seeds puddings or fruit puffers.

Smoothie Spring mix, in Winter:

Most smoothie recipes include raw vegetables and fruit:

  • Some recipes for the smoothies include frozen fruits. One of my favorite recipes has for example frozen bananas as a base.

  • We also love the original recipe of the VERY Green Smoothie.

I would like to share a couple of our favorite recipes adopted by our family.
